News24 investigative journalist Sikonathi Mantshantsha speaks to @StephenGrootes about the role former Public Enterprises minister Malusi Gigaba played at Transnet regarding the procurement of trains in a deal worth over R3.2 billion. Four other former Transnet executives, including Brian Molefe, Anoj Singh and Thamsanqa Gama are already facing at least 18 charges related to this matter. Mantshantsha says it is surprising that it has taken the NPA this long to act against Gigaba.
