With TGR announced their WEC & WRC line ups, their 2026 programs will be announce in the near months. With Jamie Klein has shared some insights on the #SFormula market, hope there’s some bombshell in the #SuperGT market as well. Aside the Ishiura replacement, Sacha Fenestraz will likely to leave the series again after a year. As far I’m aware from some info from the past, Fenstraz wanted to focus on racing in Europe where he wanted to be close to where he lives & close to where he works as a F1 sim driver. He still wanted to race at least 1 series in Japan, which by the looks of it he will stay in Super Formula. With the TGR WEC test he did, Fenstraz may still be in the TGR circle for 2026. Still unknown which series, but probably between either of GTWCE, ELMS, or even WEC LMGT3. Hope there will be an announcement in due course. Logically, the one who fills Ishiura’s seat to be Sena Sakguchi. Just due to his links with his team in Super Formula. And the one who race in the Bandoh is their third driver Kazuto Kotaka. But Sakaguchi could go to SARD as wel just because he raced with them before in 2020, but by the looks of it, Sakaguchi likely to end up at Cerumo. So who will be in the SARD seat? No strong links with them. Could see the return of Yuichi Nakayama? Or getting a rookie, like Rikuto Kobayashi? Or even another foreign driver? Time will tell, and hope new info could come closer.
