Agreed. It is both more moral and powerful to protest peacefully outside with Irish flags. The international press will pick up on it and if we persist despite the name calling, like our successful #SpoilYourVote campaign, FF/G will finally hear us
This is happening because of the sudden realisation by FF, FG, and by SF to some extent, that the significant #spoilyourvote meant many of their TDs seats were vulnerable at next election...it is as simple as this
There is a lot one could say here but I’ll start by saying this is a welcome recognition because it would be churlish not to. I will add that it shows how effective smart political action can be. This is not happening because the far left by default won the office of the Irish presidency, it’s happening because the sheer scale of the protest vote last Friday showed both the FF & FG brands of the cartel that they have stranded themselves and that at least two thirds of the Irish electorate to the right of them (it’s relative) is up for grabs.
