I wonder if Apple will start using external in app payments as a negative ranking factor in the app store. If I was Apple, I would ranks apps that use my platform more favorably than others, who do not.

JUSTICE IS SERVED (in this case, at least)! But Goog Enough needs many more wake up calls beyond this one. Congrats @TimSweeneyEpic for standing up against the evil big tech empires.

$SPY $QQQ watch your mighty $GOOGL earnings. Argue with Grok 😂 👇 "Impact on GOOGL (Alphabet/Google) RevenuesThe Supreme Court's denial of Google's stay request in the Epic v. Google antitrust case means the injunction takes effect on October 22, 2025. This requires Google to allow developers on the Google Play Store to inform US users about alternative payment options outside the app—without fees, warning screens, or other barriers. Previously, Google enforced anti-steering rules that funneled payments through its system, capturing a 15-30% commission on in-app purchases and subscriptions. This change directly threatens Google's app store revenue, which is part of its broader "Google Services" segment (totaling $300B annually). Analysts estimate the ruling could slash Google's annual Play Store commission revenue by $1-1.5B, as developers shift high-value transactions (e.g., from games and streaming apps) to external processors like Stripe or PayPal. While this is a modest ~0.3-0.5% hit to Alphabet's overall revenue, it erodes a high-margin (70% gross) stream and could accelerate developer migration to rival Android app stores. Longer-term, it may pressure Google to lower its own fees to compete, further compressing margins." 👇
