- Hear me out: if AI is actually going to take over the world, why haven’t utilities and energy companies rallied? These companies’ valuations have not budged. Who’s powering all these new data centers? Utilities are going to charge these data centers more than existing customers.
Some utilities are trying to protect existing customers from being stuck holding the data center bag. All utilities should be doing this.
