Problem with that is everybody wants to live near natural resources. Which we really need to keep pristine for everyone's sake. Fresh Water sources, arable land,etc.

Cut the red tape, build more single family homes and give tax breaks to first time home owners. But no, instead we get “mortgages that’ll outlive you and debt that’ll be passed down to your family” plans
