Megaeth 24h post allo 🔴 1 negative review Monad 24h post allo 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴 64 negative reviews are airdrops the right mechanism for long term sentiment and success?
My observation: Monad is like every other airdrop on Ethos so far. Farmers who spent their time trying to get allocation get unhappy, and leave negative reviews. We've seen this sooo many times across sooo many protocols Airdrops pandering to farmers don't work

For monad, it’s not only farmers that might have made those negative reviews. Most KOL that even got the Allo, with no skin in monad activities also frowned at their method of COMMUNITY LAST. Blaming airdrop farmers for every wrong doing of projects are unreasonable. For MegaEth, it’s not even an airdrop. It’s ICO which most people got and a lot more didn’t. TBH, they were fair, I personally didn’t get. I can’t blame anybody but for those that leave bad reviews for MegaEth, that’s their personal opinion. Humanity protocol team tarnished their own image by promising what they can’t do. As a new project, always come clean. You don’t go about making promises of airdropping $2.2M which you can’t uphold. You guys should just give airdrop farmers a break. They aren’t the major problem of the CT

thid could be one thing why InfoFi is ruining more than helping. Bullish while TGE, then be negative no mamther how good the project is.

what if airdrops focused on real users instead of farmers?

Sometimes it's cause said protocol decided to sideline its community and give it to others outside the community. Some might be due to broken implied promises. Sometimes cause the protocol showed lack of care. Each to their own.

@infinex went through the same thing; he reached a bad reputation score of 13, but now he's regaining the community's trust. I think he's the only one who's managing to turn things around.

I am in this space for years, using Ethos for a while and i like it. But i disagree in this matter. Although I think it is impossible to satisfy farmers, the real culprits in this regard are projects that create too much expectations and deceive users. They are saying "community is everything" and then giving literally pennies when the time comes to launch. So, it is inevitable to fud in this situation. Most of these projects you shared simply chose to launch and disappear (although there are exceptions). Hope we see Ethos score criteria in airdrops soon 👀

Projects who openly lie to farmers, exploit them, steal their time, and treat them like fools, openly deceive them.........

Oh yeah, it's all the farmers' fault. Somehow, this wasn't a problem before. Why did it suddenly become such a problem? Considering there are fewer farmers themselves.

A lot of the community and even builders were left behind. It was just easier to all of them farmers.

lol what if someone actually worked through the Monad testnet, tested different dApps, and in the end sees “not eligible”? and honestly, most of the slashes are written out of emotion right after the checker.
