Added operator precedence to the small programming language I’m writing.
Spotify has to be the second most promiscuous bundled subscription ever, right after grubhub.
The goal is to be so ridiculously competent, intelligent and socially adept such that no amount of bias of any kind has any tangible effect on you. That is what I strive for.

Wisdom in research is recognizing when your understanding of the problem is at best opaque and at worst flawed. Some problems require generous amounts of time to work through properly.

This is one of the craziest ideas I've ever seen. He converted a drawing of a bird into a spectrogram (PNG -> Soundwave) then played it to a Starling who sung it back reproducing the PNG. Using the birds brain as a hard drive with 2mbps read write speed. piped.video/watch?si=HMtVdHB…

I have learnt the most pulling all nighters on personal projects, listening to good talks, and going down the rabbit hole of why certain tools I use are the way they are. There’s a lot of fun in doing that, and it’s one of the best things ever imo.
confession: i really, really like occasionally pulling all-nighters for work-related or learning or reading-a-book sorts of reasons, and think that the energy an all-nighter brings is unique and irreplaceable
