The inside of my mind
No joke: driving around France when I spot a vehicle at the charger the odds are 1/4 there’s an R5 there ⚡️⚡️France 2025 I’m in love ⚡️⚡️ #alwaysbecharging #alpine Photo: @loicmonchalin

I’m very sad to hear the news that one of the all-time great automotive journalists & broadcasters, Quentin Willson, has died, aged 68. He was clever, engaging & friendly, & we’ll not see his like again. Here he is on #TopGear in ’98. #RIPQuentinWillson
I spoke to him for about 25 mins at Everything Electric last year. Very engaging and just pleasure to have a conversation with. A true gentleman. A pinch me moment for me having the chance to meet someone I watched on TV as a kid.
Quentin Wilson gave me proper advice and encouragement during my earliest attempts at TV, back in the late 90s. I’ve never forgotten it. Great bloke.

Who remembers using or owning a PDA?
My E34 535i 5sp is a car I truly regret selling. It did everything so well. Classic looks, handled great and modern power levels. The best part? The sound of the I6 through a period correct Remus Exhaust
849 Testarossa V8 PHEV driveunit. 1036hp/ 772kw combined power. 6.5kwh battery, 25km of range. What’s interesting is Ferrari warranty on the battery at the 8th and 16th year

Launch Night! What do we think of the Ferrari 859 Testarossa PHEV? V8 power. No V12

Silverado EV will be next on chopping block
F-150 Lightning Client wanted new tires fitted. Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac will be a good balance between comfort and winter grip. We normally don’t work on trucks but exceptions are made for good clients.

That sound is amazing

Better look at it actual rolling.
Pretty much accurate except for the TV. We 32inch Sony for video games as rear projection sucked for video games. I remember buy GoldenEye 64 for $90 CAD in 1997 with my own money! My friends would bring their own controllers as those were reallly expensive and rumble packs.
It's 1997 and you're ready for the boys to come over
