I have a Notice of Motion February 8 rejecting the police budget. We should not be funding a surplus. We shouldn't pay for police that don't exist. Municipalities cannot budget for a surplus or deficit. Neither should our community partners. #ghostforce.
Colleen's motion should be approved. Council also needs to question $million+ surplus PSB has planned for in their 2023 budget. Surplus budgeting shouldnt be allowed at any time but particularly when other programs areas are hurting.
