Canada had the same massive 100% spike in home prices between 2015 & 2022 and then the bubble popped. Australians will suffer the same fate. ALL BUBBLES BURST. Its gonna be a hard lesson for those who bought a house with 5% down in Australia in 2025

We had essentially that for a very short 18-mth window from about mid-2006...what became known as ninja loans. I know 'cause I borrowed 105% on very 'lite' paperwork. Extraordinarily lucky in hindsight.
