Interoperability will make or break CBDCs. SORA v3 Hub Chain was built precisely for this: a politically neutral, Iroha-native (@hl_iroha) interoperability layer that links Hyperledger Iroha 2 private networks with public networks, without compromising sovereignty or policy controls.
For a possible future Digital Shekel, the practical model is clear: if Bank of Israel implements a sovereign Iroha 2-powered SORA v3 subnet, they can enable cross-network transfers for remittances and other approved use cases, policy-constrained, auditable, and switchable on/off per connection.
SORA community collaborators have recently been seen meeting with relevant Israeli associates. This signals open, standards-driven dialogue with no commitments implied. Outcomes remain subject to policy decisions, but a compliant sandbox using SORA v3 and Iroha 2 is technically straightforward today.
