Had to same thing happen to me for a writing competition I entered. My friend and I were allowed to work together on a writing project and the judges said our work was AI because their detectors did. They refused to listen to our rebuttals and labeled us as AI users for writing.

AI detectors for both art and writing are scummy and inaccurate. People put too much trust into these things imo.
