One of my favorite memories that make BOTW in my top 10 was the fact I was genuinely considering picking up Balan Wonderworld (Iykyk) but saw it on sale and went for that instead

Every day I thank Scarlet Nexus for breaking me out of that zone.
I played it during sophomore year, when I thought anime was still cringe, now its my 6th favorite game of all time.
Its amazing how you can enjoy so much more when you embrace the weirdness.
I was initially going to play a certain French game until I learned The Hundred Line came out that same day so I played that instead.
And by the time I 100% it, I saw THOSE fans react to Famitsu giving it a 36/40 and got completely turned off from the game.
