Shocking remarks from the Prime Minister in the House of Commons today. Continuously supporting @jessphillips and her chaotically corrupt inquiry, despite her absence. Why aren’t you present, @jessphillips? Dismissing survivors’ testimonies, claiming “the safeguarding minister has more experience than anyone in this house.” @UKLabour stand down.
Replying to @MorganPCALLB
THOSE VICTIMS WHO RESIGNED WERE NOT CORRECT ABOUT THE INQUIRY BEING DILUTED @jessphillips "Can I be completely clear? I am suggesting that I will listen completely and utterly to the feedback from the victims who were on the panel and those who still are. They are not spreading misinformation at all I have had no involvement in that process. I do not know who are on the panels of victims; it is entirely independently managed by a grooming gang charity. One of my only interventions was to ensure that the names of some of the voices that I thought deserved to be heard were included. I have done that on a number of occasions. theyworkforyou.com/debates/?…@jessphillips, the UK's Safeguarding Minister, is working with the NWG Network, a charity focused on child sexual exploitation, on a national inquiry into grooming gangs. Phillips has stated that the NWG Network is managing the victim panels for the independent inquiry, not the Home Office, and has defended the process against criticisms. She has previously supported victims of child sexual abuse and violence against women and girls through her work and has championed the inclusion of child abuse victims in government strategies.  The NWG Network is a charity that is managing the independent panels for victims and survivors for the national inquiry into grooming gangs. NWG Network and victims. She has publicly addressed criticisms about the inquiry, stating that it is managed independently by the charity and not by the Home Office. hansard.parliament.uk/common…@jessphillips As has been widely reported in the media, victims and survivors are meeting prospective chairs this week—today, in fact. This process, contrary to the reporting, was managed not by the Home Office but by the independent child exploitation charity NWG Network. We are gathering views to ensure that the perspective of victims and survivors remains central. Misinformation undermines this process. Allegations of intentional delay, lack of interest and a widening or dilution of the inquiry’s scope are false. The inquiry will remain laser-focused on grooming gangs, as Baroness Casey recommended. @jessphillips Today, I will meet many of the victims and get their feedback, and I will continue to progress with that in mind. I will engage with all the victims, regardless of their opinions, and I will listen to those who have been put in the media and are put in panels. I will always listen, and I will speak to all of them. The remit of the inquiry will be decided by the chair, living within those terms of reference. THOSE RESIGNED DIDNT WANT POLICE OR SOCIAL WORKERS. THEY DIDNT WANT WHITE GROOMING GANGS VICTIMS INCLUDED IN INQUIRY ONLY PAKISTANI MEN!!!!!! Samantha Walker-Roberts, from Oldham, wants the scope of the inquiry to include victims of other types of sexual abuse, so they are not "silenced". Ms Walker-Roberts told the BBC: "This is a one-of-a-kind type of inquiry where survivors are in control and it's wrong that certain survivors get special treatment to be part of this. "It's wrong certain survivors can't see past their own trauma because everyone deserves to be part of this and deserves justice... Survivors like us need to be part of this, so the scope needs to be widened otherwise we're going be silenced." She added she had no problem with a chair who had a background in policing or social work, as this had been "proven" to work with previous review chairs, where "one was former cop, one was former social worker." Another supporter of the inquiry is Carly, from Huddersfield google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com…

Police and Social Workers are the ones who turned a blind eye for the sake of community relations.

Who do you think you are? You don't get to tell grooming gang victims how they should feel about the inquiry into their abuse
