Bad omen??? The last time all 4 #1 seeds made it to the final 4 was also when it was held in San Antonio. It was in 2008, the year of the financial crisis. I don’t believe in omens, but this ain’t good 🤮🤮

Goldman cuts Spx target from 6500 to 6200. Great cut after we’ve fallen 9%. These brokers should all be banned from the investment community. They do more harm than good. No one listen to these idiots. If they are so smart, why doesn’t the author start his own hedge fund and see how selling down 9% helps his tax owing and returns. Pathetic as always.

I am a big fan @elonmusk, but 3.25% of 2T is NOT $52.63 Billion. As the auditor in chief, you gotta be able to add.

Let’s see the EU collect all the made up fines on big US tech. Let’s see Lina Kahn ushered out. Let’s see big cap tech pay 21% taxes. Let’s see Elon fire everyone. Let’s see Iran get crushed. And. Let’s NEVER see that idiot Kamala again.

Interest rates rising. Economy juiced because of excessive leveraging, oil $83.75 and rising. Bidenomics suck.

Interesting that I’m watching AT&T sponsor the pebble beach pro-am for the 39th year and thinking that META gained in market value today 1.5X ATT total market cap. Perhaps they should be focussed on building a business and not sponsoring golf tournaments.

This is a response from chat GPT-4 for help in Wordle. “Yes, a word that includes both 'o' and 'i' but avoids 's', 't', 'a', 'r', and 'e' is "cumin." This word uses the letters c, u, m, i, and n, making it a suitable choice for your next Wordle guess if "stare" revealed no correct letters” Kinda makes me wonder about all its responses.

Is it unreasonable that I expect a LEADER to have a vision. Biden, unfortunately has none. Ukraine is a disaster, the Middle East is a disaster, BRICs are gaining members, illegal immigrants are entering at record levels, and his secretary of defence went AWOL for 4 days and no one knew about it. Bidenomics is one of his visions and it’s a farce. Loading up on debt will to create jobs is not a vision, it’s financial suicide. Perhaps it’s unreasonable to expect a man with a life expectancy of 6 years to have a long term vision. Hating Trump is not a vision. It’s myopic and become tiresome rhetoric. Perhaps it’s time to find a leader with vision. Apple could not survive if its motto was to choose Apple because Samsung is undemocratic. In fact, samsung is a large supplier to Apple. I’ve grown tired of our leaders having no vision and leading us to nowhere. It’s time for change.

Steven Tuchner @stevetuchner What are the odds that an 81 year old dies in the next 5 years Grok @grok Well, I'm no actuary, but I can tell you that the odds of an 81-year-old dying in the next 5 years are pretty high. It's like betting on the sun rising tomorrow morning - it's just a safe bet. But hey, life is full of surprises, and people are living longer these days, so who knows? Maybe they'll defy the odds and live to be 100.

Why are Americans forced to choose between a man devoid of Principles and a man who is devoid of sensible policies. Scum vs Shit doesn’t sound like viable choice.

The DEI movement should be applauded for encouraging organizations to consider all candidates when looking to fill opportunities. Where it has failed, IMO, is in its behaviour when those same employees are terminated. An inability to terminate employment “with or without cause” should be the decision of a Board or a manager. The consequences are always laid out in an employment agreement. The behaviour of the crowd regarding Claudine Gay has been despicable. Accusing the Board of racism is unacceptable. People get fired all the time—no excuse needs to be given. If you can’t fire someone, you can’t hire them. The behaviour of the “crowd” will set DEI back and make boards think twice before hiring someone that can’t be terminated.

While the democrats tell us about their great accomplishments of 2023, my reading and pontificating suggests otherwise. I see an angry and frustrated world with no order. Trump is without question flawed, but he behaved like a leader and commanded global respect. No foreign country or leader would be mouthing off to the USA, let alone attacking American bases, vessels or citizens. Additionally, letting in so many immigrants is akin to the dilutive actions of a corporation. Apple, Google, Msft, Berkshire Hathaway buy back their shares. This e riches the remaining shareholders. Companies that dilute, do grow larger, but do so at the expense of the current shareholders. GDP will rise because of more people, but GDP per capita is declining. We need this to end. China does not dilute, Iran does not dilute, Russia does not dilute. That’s why they are gaining ground. Europe and the “do-gooder” nations have, and look at the result. Bidens policies only exist to expand the democrats voter base, not to benefit its current citizens. We need Trump, or we will be diluted into irrelevance.

I’ve been reading that our most prestigious colleges have been funded by Muslim countries. I have an idea—no US institution can be owned or receive donations greater than say 20% FROM A FOREIGN ENTITY. Similar to a takeover of a US company that is critical to US interests. The problem with the colleges is they’ve sold out.

Fun facts. Israel with 8 million people has a gdp of 520 billion. Iran with a population of 88 million has a gdp of 400 billion. Gaza with 2.3 million people -28 billion. When we consider proportionality, perhaps we should consider productivity and contribution. Eagles ain’t pigeons

Israel will now use f-15 and f-16 aircraft’s to drop the GBU-28 bunker busters. This will open up the tunnels and allow them to move in. They are clearing the north because these are much larger bombs (5000lbs) and can have a blast radius of 1km

Anyone think the USA is siding with Israel so that Israel doesn’t bomb Iran. We’ll give you the Hamas, but you can’t touch Iran. If they were really with Israel they’d shut down this garbage at our colleges.
