pretty pathetic effort from the players but the lack of in-game adjustments from the staff is probably more concerning. they need to figure it out or it's gonna get even uglier than it already is.
this is simple zoom action at the top that probably should have led to nothing. but Eubanks (who's way too high guarding I-Hart), Precious and LaVine get jumbled up. Eubanks has no depth on the I-Hart roll and Monk doesn't tag the roller. another lob and another dunk.
OKC got anything they wanted against an empty corner in pick-and-roll. this is great action. double drag. Isaiah Joe clears to the opposite baseline off an exit screen to vacate the strong side corner. I-Hart and SGA run the pick-and-roll with no low man defending. lob. dunk.
here, OKC goes double drag. watch DeMar. he pre-switches so Eubanks can guard the Chet on-ball screen. but on the pre-switch he fails to find his new man, Hartenstein, who slips his screen early and gets an easy two.
the Sacramento Kings are 27th in defensive rating. teams continually utilize the same concepts to take advantage of their lack of adjustments. OKC did the same on Friday night with high pick-and-roll and high-low action. here's an example against their horrible zone defense:
