in 1995 during the Olso accords a formal water agreement was signed by both sides and witnessed by the United States, Russia, the European Union, Norway, Jordan and Egypt. Ignorance is bliss. There's only one aquifer under the entire land of Israel. Its overuse will result in an ecological catastrophe. Israel doesn't "take" water from it, Israel is desalinating most of its water, enough to send to Jordan, and probably to add back to the aquifer.
