The CMS-03 (also GSAT-7R) is an advanced multi-band communication satellite built by ISRO for the Indian Navy to enhance secure voice, data, and video links across the Indian Ocean Region. Launched on Nov 2, 2025, via LVM3-M5 rocket from Sriharikota, it's India's heaviest at 4,410 kg. Post-launch, ISRO conducted orbit-raising maneuvers to place it in final geostationary orbit at 36,000 km, enabling mission ops.
