(TLDR: no plans to compete heavily in the future. streams, yt vids, coaching etc. will continue as normal, but i haven't had drive/motivation to compete and grind tekken 8 for a while.)

i think taunt is interesting bc to me it feels moreso balanced around being a situational option with mostly clear counterplay. even in T8 with easier taunt stuff, the impact of taunt on high level play feels mostly the same. mostly what separates it from ewgf, akuma d3 etc imo

I think Bryan is a good example of this, taunt is insanely broken on paper but no human being on earth can optimize it to the highest potential since the links are so hard to do
