Apple has officially joined the long list of dying companies who post "concepts" and "prototypes" and then can't ship shit.
The complete antithesis of what Jobs built. Shame.
Pretty sure they dumbed these effects down because people were crying about accessibility. The 26 betas during the summer had way more glass and effects than iOS does now.
They should have put an accessibility option to limit glass and animation rather than killing it for all.
They didn't "dumb these effects down" because to "dumb something down" it should exist first. This was never implemented in any alpha or beta.
This animation has nothing to do with accessibility. The dev betas had more clear glass etc. but that also didn't match the concepts.
They did that with iPhone 16 Pro and Apple Intelligence. Over a year now and my iPhone still can't do what they promised.
Can I get a refund on the phone?
There's a class action that'll go nowhere, as typical.
Unfortunately there's no law for these companies. And it's bad because it enriches them in the short term at the expense of customers. But long term it destroys THEM as well. Apple is dead in my eyes. Market cap is lagging.
It is energy intensive. But they kept all the processing for it. When you put two buttons too close they merge like drops of liquid.
So they now spend the energy and didn’t do the animation. Worst of all worlds. 😂
How can something ruin them they clearly never heard of. 😂
But kidding aside, I don't know if AI ruined them, but shoddy management sure did ruin them.
