Hollow Knight (original) took 3 to 4 people 4 years to make. Expedition 33 took a known 30 to 33 people without counting sub contractors and whatnot about 6 years. AKI made WCW/NWO revenge in about 10 to 11 months but had roughly about 20 to 50 people and had already had a game engine they were building off and as a group had experience working together to make their game.
So please tell me why anyone thinks @upwvideogame should be anywhere truly close to finished right now? They have a hand full of people...1 person doing the actual game development, while others are designing characters (both in art and then digitally), 1 person doing the music, one person doing belt design specifically etc. etc. etc. This isn't a team of game designers all working together to pump out a new game.
I need y'all to relax and stop stressing out the people trying to work on the game. They'll get shit out when they get the shit done that they want to show you.
