The @gigaml founders are in the elite founder tier for both IQ and how hardcore their work ethic is. At their current growth rate, they'll be one of the leading AI companies within a year. There's nowhere better to join for the most hardcore engineers:

Giga is the next AI rocketship, and they’re hiring forward deployed engineers. (They’re building SOTA customer support agents that have 100% win-rate against all other AI customer support products for Fortune 500)
They’re the next AI compound startup

Coinbase just became the first and only crypto company to join the S&P 500.
This milestone represents what the true believers, from retail investors to institutional investors to our employees and partners, knew all along.
Crypto is here to stay.
Fathom is making me hate it more and more I use. It has a default setting to share recording to every one and every user needs to configure it individually.
I as an admin can't auto turn it on it keeps sending emails to the customers who it shouldn't.

New in @InfoWorld: Now that the dust of @deepseek_ai's R1 has settled, what are the implications for how we approach AI at large?
First principles thinking is essential to building the next generation of AI.
(thanks @fchollet, @daltonc and @GuptaUcsd for their comments)
The @ycombinator community is like no other.
It's Saturday evening, and we're sharing our expertise working with Fortune 500 leaders as @gigaml is about to close a huge public company.
Founders helping founders is how we win.
Post-training to reduce censorship has been done before, but mathematically removing the concept of censorship from the model? Less trivial, but what high-risk AI applications demand.
@CTGTInc does exactly this, as I discussed in my talk @ucsd_cse last week.
Announcing our first open-weights model: R1 1776 - a version of DeepSeek R1 that's been post-trained to remove the China censorship and provide unbiased, accurate responses. Here's a graph showing % of Chinese censorship by the model (the lower, the better).
Today at start of @sama talk @garrytan made us realize a crazy thing every body gave a standing avation to the open ai team thanking them for creating the gpt which bought all of us together at YC AI retreat. I got goose bumps for a second when I realized sama created a whole new industry and he is literally the reason that all the companies in that room
exist.
People are using LLM to apply for jobs and its really easy to find as of now they are way too lengthy atleast in YC work at a startup portal. Using AI will reduce your odds if you are applying for a startup as I go through these messages manually. For big companies they use AI to screen so better to use AI maybe. Curious on how this turns out in a couple of years
