Exploring with friends is the best! Who is coming to Portugal or Thailand next? Thanks @virtualized6ix and @AakanshaPriya_ for the adventures! I think I saw @tech__unicorn is coming to @WebSummit Portugal this week πŸŽ‰

Step 1. Become really good friends with Eddie Step 2. Let him convince you to rent a motorcycle Step 3. Ride around Porto on cobblestones, tight roads, and down towards a beach for some road rocket therapy 😎 Highly recommended 😌 πŸ“Έ credits: THANK YOU @eddiejaoude 😊

Had a random motorcycle stop so Eddie could check directions because roads were closed and out of nowhere Calvin just enters the chat! Great meeting and catching up with you, Calvin!

Despite how chaotic of a day it was with escalations, tough conversations, KCD planning, and last minute asks… I managed to sneak in some trick-or-treating with my sweet little boy before taking off to the airport to head over to KCD Porto. Happy Halloween πŸŽƒπŸ¦–

🀯ROXY IS SOOOOO BACK🀯
Good morning! I love how I was β€œSO BACK” on Monday and fully slept through everything today. 🀣🀣🀣 I mean, I kinda feel great though - much needed. Side note - I put my MagnoliaConf talk into Claude and asked what I could expand on when it came to my PWA swap from JS to React and got some really good ideas I’m excited to research further. πŸ₯°πŸ₯° #momswhocode #signofshame

Networking was the bridge that got me to where I am today… Network engineers will get this.
Networking, I’ve come to find out, is definitely alive and doing very well and needs more people to participate in the chaos they have going on…

might delete later, but if y'all have any leads on dev-rel, community, or adjacent openings i'd love to hear about it. i'm headed to work tomorrow afternoon and it has become pretty toxic. le sigh.
If you’re looking for an outstanding Developer Advocate to help grow your community and so much more, look no further than Roxy. Happy to provide a testimonial if needed, but once you meet her, you’ll quickly see why she’s advanced so far in her interviews β€” and you’ll feel lucky to have the chance to bring her on board.

Not a software developer but tech in mostly: - Hardware/software companies - The odd one out was a water pumps manufacturing company that liked to accumulate technical debt like I do with random cables from the late 90s to now
What industries have you worked in as a software developer? How did the range of applications and services you built vary?

For example, if you wanted to load-balance your LLM calls between two models, the AI gateway can handle this for you. Or if you wanted to limit how many tokens can flow in a single request (so you control token costs)…OR if you wanted to return cached responses β€”> AI gateway 🧡

We can send our traffic to the AI Gateway. The extend logic allows for things like: - Load-balancing - token-based rate-limiting (a cost control measure) - authentication - caching - prompt protection/decoration But remember what I said? This is all networking 😎 🧡
