I am not going to doomwatch Hurricane Beryl flirting with Cat 5. But I am going to tell you that #climatechange is real. It does not make MORE hurricanes happen, but man when they do happen it can make them intensify in hours to total monsters. Warmer water, more death.

Now Cat 5, earliest ever.

Not the case at all. Hurricanes are the same as ever.

“ the fingerprint of climate change”. That is a completely unsubstantiated statement. Hurricanes have not gotten stronger or more numerous or any more dangerous. You’re just making this up. Global ACE is below normal again this year so far. It is just “weather”

But all the hottest temps of each state is from decades ago. Seems like it was even hotter before

So what about the geoengineering or are we still ignoring that?

Yup, the climate on earth is always changing. And always will. Humans have nothing to do with it.

So, like, Major Hurricanes are definitely becoming more plentiful then? I mean, if ordinary hurricanes can become so powerful in such a short time, then the number of powerful "total monsters" should definitely be increasing, right? Who knew?

"Hi, I'm Chris Wiegard and I'm not very smart. I believe that taxes will change the weather and that if the government doesn't "keep" the money it's not tax. I don't know, however that the government spends every single tax dollar they collect. I believe what I'm told. Baaaah"

La Niña has the opposite effect of El Niño. During La Niña events, trade winds are even stronger than usual, pushing more warm water westward.

When my mom was younger, her grandma told her that the rockets that they starting blasting into the air would cause damage to our atmosphere in the future. She was right, and I don't think normal combustion is the cause. So should we stop trying to conquer space?

And now that warmer ocean water is extending to a greater depth than "normal", so a tropical system following behind a major hurricane, has a greater chance to intensify.
Replying to @wiegard_chris
Right. HAARP has nothing to do with it.
