I just created a totally new psychological model that explains subconscious programming and the way it shapes your identity. Humans are like a river that has three sections - a source, the midstream, and eventually it turns wide and goes into the sea the shape of the river, including the turns, oxbow lakes, meanders etc, all depend on the particular genetic and environmental circumstances that are in the region no two rivers are the same, every single one is unique. However, some rivers have dams blocking the flow of water, and unlike natural environmental factors that affect the way the shape of the river manifests, dams are manmade structures built intentionally that block the flow of water towards the sea where everything is open and visible. The river is a metaphor for our nervous system it's the flow mechanism that carries information and energy from your deepest conditioning all the way to your conscious thoughts and behaviours every emotion you feel every thought every behaviour every muscle are all connected by the nervous system and each section of the river - source midstream sea are distinct parts of our mind which can be accessed at any moment. The source is the deepest part of our mind; language doesn't exist at this level there are no beliefs, but only emotions and reinforced behaviours it's where you learned your place in the world, how everything works, and the rules you're allowed to play by - all taught through emotion, conditioning and example. Midstream is what we traditionally call the subconscious mind, emotions, behaviours, learned patterns and conditioned responses become labelled through language and form beliefs e.g. you always felt money was out of reach when you were growing up, and now you subconsciously believe "people like me don't get rich" your identity and ego form here. The sea is your conscious mind and all of your behaviours it's everything that takes place on the surface level of your mind and the outside world including thoughts, habits, patterns, etc all an outwards manifestation of everything in the midstream and the source. Dams are emotional blockages that prevent this natural flow, creating the patterns that sabotage what you consciously want. they are the result of the conditioning and suppressed emotion which happen at the source level they block the flow of information and energy in the nervous system through muscular holding patterns the easiest way to explain it is by imagining a stress ball which represents suppressed emotions and conditioned parts of you your hands are squeezing it 24/7 just so that stress ball stays that way the same thing happens all over your body so every time you want to do something that goes against your conditioning, you just can't. People try to fix this problem by changing the way they think, but this will never work because it's all based on emotion you're trying to override a system with software when in reality your hardware is preventing it. There was a neuroscientist called Antonio Damasio, when studying people who had damage in the part of the brain where emotions are generated, he found that they all had something peculiar in common: They couldn’t make decisions. They could describe what they should do in logical terms, but they found it impossible to make even the simplest choices. Your mind and your body aren't two separate entities; they are interlinked dams affect the way you think, act, behave, and perceive literally blocking access to information that would get you exactly what you wanted your whole life. You want to get rich, but you always end up in the same place. You want to be productive, but you always do something else. You want to be charismatic, but your brain shuts down in social situations. This affects you at levels nobody can even comprehend. When all of the dams are removed, and the information flows uninhibited from the source all the way to the sea - you get into flow state at ease you're truly authentic your words, actions, beliefs are all aligned you get access to creativity, new ideas, and new information that you never knew you had so when you want to get rich and start a successful business, there is nothing stopping you from getting the idea learning how to realise it taking action accepting the money and being able to keep it without sabotaging yourself. The key is to remove the dams. I'm going to go deep into each part of the model in future posts.

Everyone focuses on the stories people tell others, but what stories do you tell yourself? The narrative you create in your mind is exactly how your life will go down, what you will have, and who you will be the key is to first strip other people's narratives, agendas, and ideologies that have been implanted into your subconscious as they have petrified your identity. He who gets lost in Medusa’s eyes becomes stone. A block of clay is full of potential - it can be carved, moulded, and remade but once someone steals your clay, sculpts his vision of what it's supposed to look like and hardens it in the oven it will stay like that till the end. You want to become that mouldable piece of clay again, and remake your narrative so it benefits you instead of others. When you create your story, you don't need to have beliefs. You already know what's going to happen.
storytelling is the ultimate compression algorithm for human attention. everything else, data, logic, tech feeds into it, but if you can’t wrap it in a compelling narrative, nobody will give a shit. people think they make decisions based on facts, but they’re mostly responding to the shape of a story, whether it’s a personal arc, a company vision, or a product pitch. if you want to accomplish anything meaningful, the story is the interface between it & the world. get that wrong & nobody will give af. get it right & you bend steel with your bare hands.

Needing self-discipline to do actions that will get you what you want is a sign that there is a part of you that doesn't want it for whatever reason it could be fear, anxiety, or a belief in your subconscious. In my psychological river model, I refer to these as dams. They block the flow of information/energy between intention, emotion, and action. When you're in this state you have to fight through them, forcing yourself to do things you consciously want, in the end 90% of the time this is unsustainable and you cycle back to where you started from people who have everything you want don't have more self-discipline than you they have nothing preventing them from doing actions that are in line with their dreams.
The most effective workout is the one you actually enjoy, the one that makes you jump out of bed excited to move. Forcing yourself through workouts you hate is slave behaviour and anti-metabolic. Movement should be life giving, not punishment

You don't need permission to be confident. Ideally, you want to have irrational confidence for no reason at all. As soon as you have a reason, or a metric, which you base your confidence on you will put yourself in competition with those around you and inevitably there will be someone with more of that metric than you consequently, fucking up your own confidence and state. Don't place yourself anywhere in the 0-10 ranking, be a 1/1. "I'm the man" why? "just because" it's a process to get to that point, if you have no confidence at all it will be hard to decide "oh yea im the shit" but eventually you need to transcend that paradigm to get to the next level Reprogram yourself to believe you were born as "the man" by default and there is nothing you need to do to be it. Becoming world-class level at something should be only done for you, your mission, and God.
Confidence is something you earn by doing things, not something you need before you begin.

Be aware that this exact same thing happens with the things you don’t want if you keep focusing on them, feeling negative and acting that way

When you intend something to happen, while your actions and mind are aligned, it will happen 100% of the time. I used to believe this was something purely psychological/physical but it's impossible to ignore the metaphysical aspect of it when you're in this state of alignment towards the things you want, you will start to notice coincidences that help you along the way a person may appear that gives you reach or direction, an event may happen that changes your perspective on things, you do something seemingly unrelated but it leads to huge financial gain it feels like someone, or something is literally helping you along the way but I only encountered this when every fibre of my body is aligned with my intention my mind (both conscious and subconscious) emotions (no fears, no avoidance) and actions (internal alignment flowing out of you into the external) you stop having to force things, and instead they just happen naturally winning is easy because in this state it's flowing out of you. When you are aligned, the world aligns with you.
“Reality rearranges itself to accommodate your declarations” I love this

The winner effect is a real thing when you start winning, you will keep on winning and it will go into an upwards spiral that is very hard to stop, it rewires your brain and opens doors to areas of your mind that you aren't aware of. Thinking you're a loser, taking L's or being unlucky shuts down your brain, you can't think clearly, all of your ideas are whack, you have no confidence, and you're more likely to lose and lose and lose therefore, losers lose - winners win. However, if you lower your threshold to what you consider a win you can hijack this mechanism and force yourself into a winner effect got through a workout session? made $10 online? locked eyes with someone attractive? notice it and consider that as a huge win, be ecstatic. I wrote a post earlier about how the ultimate form of positive thinking is an ideal-self reaffirming mechanism and everything I wrote there can be used in conjunction to what I'm suggesting here locked eyes with someone attractive? "I'm so attractive everyone is looking at me" got through a workout session? "I'm such a hard worker, what I say I'll do I always do it" made 10$ online? "I know how to make money online, nobody else I know in real life has done this before, I'm going to get so rich" hundreds of thousands of millions of wins every single month.
losing is for losers

What I noticed with suffering, and this is especially applicable when you're overinvested into something can be a business, a relationship, a habit you are so caught up in the dynamic, that you physically can't get out of your perspective and your thinking becomes clouded you're severely emotional, almost in a state of worshiping that thing while abandoning your values at the time you might not think it's a big deal because you are overinvested but this is the moment you always get ripped out of that dynamic forcefully you'll experience great suffering, but with that comes alchemy, clarity, and a perspective into truth.
4
Suffering burns away everything that is impure, it's a process of alchemy - turning lead into gold you are forced to let go of the parts that don't serve you it's the process in which the pain of being yourself is greater than the pain of change. In these moments, the change doesn't take months or years something switches in your mind like a light switch, all of a sudden, you're different. This exact process can be done without having to go through years of pain and suffering, you can just change.
The very nature of trying to be like someone, or be a certain way just proves to yourself that you are not it there is a distinction between doing and being doing takes willpower, literally fighting against yourself to act a certain way. It requires force. Being is easy, you get everything you want because you have become the type of person that would get it naturally the key to become this type of person, is not doing more. It's undoing everything that is keeping you as you are now that can only be done by realising that your default state is your ideal self. Who you want to be is the original version of you. Then you identify all of subconscious programming, beliefs, trauma that have been placed on top of that to mold you into who you are now, and you remove them.
people want an extraordinary life whilst their thoughts remain ordinary those same thoughts dictate their lives step the fuck up retvrn.

The larger the gap between who you are now and who you want to be, the more miserable you will feel the craziest thing about this, is that you consciously WANT to be your ideal self You want to be rich You want to be charismatic You want to be jacked but every time you try to be those things, you can't. It feels like there's an invisible wall stopping you from doing the things you want to do always encountering the same problems and the same patterns. You decide "this is it man, I'm locking in" only to focus for a few weeks to then subconsciously sabotage yourself again into remaining the same. Until you address your subconscious, you're bound to staying exactly as you are now. It's an invisible cage.

Your subconscious is home to outdated beliefs, formed as rules and labels during childhood trauma they act as a rulebook to who you are, and what you can do or not do in this life every time you go out of bounds, you will feel a strong emotional response (fear, anger, sadness) that will loop you back into your safe zone. Imagine for a moment you had no beliefs about anything. You didn't know who you are, how the world works, etc. Then someone tells you to do a select few actions that will make you money you'd do them with no sabotage, limits, perception, or emotions attached just pure action with no thought to it you'd probably get a lot closer to your goals without having any beliefs, than having the ones you have now.
Most of the limitations you have about yourself are just childhood trauma buried deep in your subconscious If you are driven by revenge (one of the lucky ones)... You can eliminate most of these traumas by figuring out who caused them and how The next step? Compare their lives to your own rn, and you will realize that the reason they tried to box you into something was because they knew you would go further than them

Cultivate low probability crazy situations happening to you the pattern of someone constantly experiencing low probability insane stories is a big predictor of whether someone will be successful or not, this comes down to taking chances, putting yourself in new environments, being bold, taking action nothing worse than a man who lives an eventless life. When I was 18, I contributed significantly to a known figure in the online space becoming famous and made my first internet money - all because I sent him a DM and joined his online community normal dudes don't put themselves in situations like this
I remember my mate telling me about a guy who was broke but became a golf or skiing instructor in Switzerland (can’t remember which) Anyways he ended up marrying a girl whose Dad owned an engineering company that supplied parts to a major company He marrried into wealth and lives the dream live now Goals

Positive thinking in its ultimate form is an ideal-self reaffirming mental model it's a cultivated series of beliefs that shift your identity into exactly who you wanted to be, this way of looking at positive thinking is quantum leaps more powerful than repeating affirmations every day in front of the mirror - "I love myself" "I'm confident" you want to create an identity that you aspire to become and list all its attributes, then physically find proof of the attributes throughout your day. At the start it might be slow, but soon this will happen automatically every time continuously reinforcing itself, becoming an upwards spiral that increases your conviction in your new identity.
Your mind can be cleansed of negative thoughts within two weeks without you having to do anything, simply give them no attention. When they come, don't take them personally as they are not yours. Acknowledge. Call bullshit. Carry on about your day.
Every subconscious belief about yourself has an emotional counterpart that is anchoring it into place by addressing only the intellectual and refusing to acknowledge the emotional there never is any real change you need to address both. By first identifying the subconscious belief and finding its emotional counterpart, you can remove the emotional anchor and reshape your belief to whatever you want it to be.
