Quick check? That's problematic for people with slow reaction times.
Confidence check? That's problematic for people with insecurity.
Coherence check? That's problematic for people with incoherent speech.
Gut check? That's problematic for people with severe gut reflex.
What a crock. "Gut check" is problematic too, it unnecessarily references the stomach, which is ableist towards people with stomach problems such as ulcers, stomach cancer, heartburn, and so on.

I have mental health issues up the wazoo and never once did I see a problem with it being called a sanity check, it's a sanity check to make sure everything is in a sane state. I ain't got time to be offended by this nonsense!
Is this or real? This actually happening in the real world?
I am glad I've been sheltered from most of this as nobody cares about things like this at my company.
You run gut-level on your config and outputs, and in case it doesn't check you get "I refuse to go along with this you wicked, wicked devil! HAAaaAAaRG!"
