They told the judge that the FTX case is too complicated. They use this excuse every time — it’s not based on solid reasoning. In my view, it’s completely unconvincing.

@zhetengji but looks like SC will now have full freedom to decide on what to do with the restricted jurisdictions based on legal opinion and no timeline for unlocking the funds, potentially dragging the decision on for years and years. don't you think so?

The judge clearly stated that in other bankruptcy cases, distributions can proceed normally — so why does the FTX Trust need additional procedural support from the Court? Although there wasn’t much discussion about distributions yesterday, the reason we oppose the R-J procedure is that the FTX Trust has repeatedly created various procedures in the past, each time using a legal façade to continuously expand its own power. These powers, while appearing minor, actually reduce creditors’ chances of recovering their compensation and place further restrictions on us.
