Be the guy. If you want to live an extraordinary life, you have to be the guy. Be the guy to make everything happen. Plan the nights out, book the trips. Get the first round of drinks. Send shots to the girls table. Crack jokes. Put everyone in a good mood. Lead by example. Lift all tides. Life is what you make it & it goes best for the people who play the leading role in making it special.

To be clear, the money to pay @elonmusk does not exist. He has to create it to get it.
“The zero-sum mindset you have is at the root of so much evil.” Exactly.

You are a taker, not a maker. All you’ve done your whole life is take from the makers of the world. The zero-sum mindset you have is at the root of so much evil. Once you realize that civilization is not zero-sum and that it is about making far more than one consumes, then it becomes obvious that the path to prosperity for all is just let the makers make. Regarding Tesla, the reality is that I have been given nothing. However, if I lead Tesla to become the most valuable company in the world by far and it stays that way for 5 years, shareholders voted to award me 12% of what is built. Anyone who wants to come along for the ride can buy Tesla stock. If Tesla “merely” becomes a $1.999 trillion dollar company, I get nothing. This is a great deal for shareholders, which is why they voted so overwhelmingly to approve this, for which I am immensely grateful. And they did so by a margin far more than you won your political seat.

"Envy no one. For whatever you see, a price was paid." Isn't that the truth.

My kids used to love walking to Target until the local Target changed their policy to "no unaccompanied kids under 18" It's v frustrating. I'm looking for chances to help my kids be independent & I have basically no societal cooperation on this project

The fiscal death loop is public sector unions using taxpayer money to lobby for more taxpayer money.
The word “retard” is not meant for people with handicaps. It’s meant for non-handicapped people who are stupid. If you don’t understand this, you’re a retard.

I forget which comedian did this, but it really is the golden rule of American residential real estate: Women in athletic clothes drinking alcohol & riding bicycles at 11am on a weekday = good neighborhood Men in athletic clothes drinking alcohol & riding bicycles at 11am on a weekday = bad neighborhood

If you’re under 30 and have no responsibilities, I recommend working as many hours per week as humanly possible. You’ll never be able to work this hard again. And the compounding effects of a few years can set up your life for decades.
when youre in your 20s everyone is hot. in your 30s, lifestyle choices begin to show and its more impressive to be hot

A major health cheat code is living in a place that's walkable. Walking to get coffee, hike, go to the gym, or even grab a meal is one of the best silent health luxuries no one talks about.

Imagine leaving X because it was too ‘toxic’ only to end up celebrating a man’s murder on a different platform.
A ten strike law preventing people from leaving prison after that many violent crime convictions would reduce period violent crime by 20% Five strikes would cut violent crime by 40% Three strikes would halve violent crime Two strikes would remove ~two-thirds of violent crime

If you have an anti Elon sticker on your Tesla, it means: 1) You care about what strangers think, and feel the need to explain yourself to them. A sign of weakness. 2) You’re scared some deranged shitlib is gonna mess with you. A sign of weakness and cowardice. 3) You love the car more than you hate Elon and don’t want to sell it for another car. A sign of weakness and cowardice. I can’t think of any scenario where having one of those stickers accomplishes anything other than letting the world know you are a coward. Do what you want, but just know what’s up.
