This will probably fall on deaf ears, but it’s too important not to point out. Whatever @netanyahu chooses to do, ordering the @IDF to conduct a land operation into Gaza ‘will’ wind up being a cataclysmic mistake (or more accurately, a ‘forced error’). The Israeli government isn’t just dealing with last decade’s Hamas here, this raid was carefully tailored to elicit the responses the IDF is carrying out ‘right now.’
Sharing this particular account’s tweet of this incident, because their wording is fairly careful and accurate. This ‘might’ have been a car bombing (cars do rarely kinda just blow up on their own), but it’s hard to tell that from aftermath footage alone. ‘If’ it is a car bombing, the list of potential culprits is exceedingly long, including actors like AQIS, organizations affiliated with PakMil/ISI (like some of the Kashmiri militant groups and LeT), ISKP (though Imma be honest, pulling off a car bombing in the middle of New Delhi strikes me as being beyond “natural” ISKP’s capacity — the ISI and Haqqani ISK cells could probably pull it off though, the latter currently lacks the apparent interest/motivation), or any one of India’s dozens of domestic militia and militant groups.

said no such thing. moreover, explained why in recent years his speech and actions break with jihadi ideology. moreover, he was never in ISIS - broke w it when it was created; wouldnt take orders from ISIS. but of course, you have to listen to the whole discussion.
So here we have retired US diplomat, Robert Ford, admitting that he and British MI6 helped rebranding Abu Mohammad al-Julani, former headchopper of ISIS,now Syrian President. Western officials whitewashing terrorists to suit their agenda. "Defending the international rules based order" 😂😂😂😂😂
I know Mugabe was on the other side of the continent, and that ‘Lost Boys’ (colloquially referring to both child soldiers and the group from Peter Pan) isn’t something he was known for. I didn’t wanna say “black Hitler” twice, calm down

Largest purely naval battle since WW2 — and it’s just black Hitlers and Mugabe’s lost boys doing drive-bys against each-other in speedboats
The Islamic State and JAS (Boko Haram) are chasing each other down in boats on Lake Chad and engaging in huge gunfights. Hundreds of casualties between the two Islamist groups as they fight for control. x.com/DrumChronicles/status/…

Brother, what the fuck are you talking about? JNIM’s been stunting on the Malian government almost constantly, to the point where they’ve been treating their battlefield victories like they’re a meme (ditto for their war in Burkina Faso). They have tens of thousands of dudes, and have been strangling Mali’s fuel supplies for months now. Yes, they probably won’t march on Bamako ‘right now’, but that’s not because they’re not clearly winning.
As this Saudi television talk show host demonstrates, the belief that “Bamako will fall” to AQ groups is as widely spread as it is utterly without evidence. When do we start asking about how this fantasy is being coordinated across news media & foreign experts of all stripes?

Appreciate the righteous indignation though
Oh yeah, Lieutenant General (retired) Mark Hertling already answered as much, you don’t have to take my word for it.
In talking with a representative of ABMC - an organization I was once part of -these panels were part of a rotating display that is constantly changed, and that there are now other panels portraying other actions by black soldiers. Appears there is more to this story.

(When I say “he was the most popular man in DoD”, that’s not a statement based off of vibes — I did a whole network analysis of DoD’s senior leadership some years ago. Everyone loves the man, across the services no less — probably why he was selected to run the Army’s Forces Command, the single largest sub-organization in DoD.)

Well, uhhh. The guy who runs the American Battlefield Monuments Commission is the ridiculously popular (dare I say universally popular — probably the most popular man in DoD until he retired) retired General Michael X. Garrett, who happens to look like this. No, this wasn’t a race thing (so this should in fact be community noted), they use a rolling memorial at this particular site — because our participation in WW2 was an ‘all’ American effort.
How fucking racist do you have to be

(All of the Daesh dudes were schwacked obviously, it wasn’t a very good plan)

Uhhhh, no actually — Daeshis like repping their colors. It’s weird and honestly a waste of time, but they still do it. My personal favorite example is of those IS Caucasus dudes ‘who were in Russian jail at the time’, when they stabbed a few guards and took some others hostage, and still somehow found the time to put the Shahada on a t-shirt ‘while Russian security services were bearing down on them.’
They’re learning from the Israelis 😭😭😭
Jajajaja
GeoConfirmed Update. We are now working on the link between the Orbat and the Map. If you look for a unit in the Orbat, you will see the last time it was linked to a geolocation on the map. Clicking that URL brings you to the map and the exact location. Of course, this information will only be linked when the unit is known. This counts for every Orbat that we are updating/creating. Don't forget: this is all work in progress based on volunteer work. More information: geoconfirmed.org

From Glenn Beck to Bill Maher, the number of commentators who simply do not understand this moment and what is making Nick Fuentes, Candace Owens, and Tucker Carlson popular is astounding but not surprising. And you can certainly include folks like Mark Levin in that. And the way they’re responding to Nick, Candace, and Tucker is not dissimilar to seeing Jeb Bush respond to Donald Trump in 2015.

A German-Jewish WWI veteran wears his Iron Cross while a Nazi soldier stands in front of his shop for intimidation, 1933... This photo was taken in April of 1933, during the Nazi boycott of Jewish businesses. It was the expression on the shopkeeper’s face that captivated MyHeritage’s Research team: proud, unafraid, smiling wryly, he exudes a quiet power that contrasts starkly with the hunched body language of the Nazi standing nearby. Who was this man? And what became of him in the dark days that followed? The Research team had to find out — and what they uncovered about the rest of the man’s story blew them away. The man’s name was Richard Stern. After being awarded the prestigious Iron Cross for his service in the German army during World War I, he was driven out of his home country by the hateful Nazi regime. The Research team discovered records of Richard arriving at Ellis Island at the age of 40 in May 1939 — narrowly escaping the beginning of the war. In 1942, when Richard was 43 and not yet an American citizen, he enlisted in the U.S. Army to join the war efforts. And not only did he fight against the country he had once been decorated for defending, he was awarded a Silver Star in 1944: the third-highest combat award in the U.S. Army. Research team discovered a newspaper clipping from The Long Island Star-Journal printed on July 6, 1944, describing his service: “The victim of German brutality, 45-year-old Sergeant Richard F. Stern, earned the Silver Star for gallantry in action during an assault Jan. 7 on the slopes of Mount Porchio when in the face of heavy enemy fire he addressed the Germans in their own tongue and demanded that they surrender, convincing them they were hopelessly outnumbered.” Richard did not have any children of his own, but his great-nephew Jack Romberg, a rabbi living in Florida, is well aware of his great-uncle’s actions in the war. He reports that his uncle kept the Silver Star in a box at the bottom of a drawer in a back bedroom — but he did not keep the Iron Cross. Instead, he gave it to the U.S. Army, which was collecting metal to melt down and make into ammunition. That’s right: he turned his German military award into bullets to shoot the Nazis. © The Jewish Observer #archaeohistories
