Yesterday, our founder @thompsonogoyi paid a courtesy visit to the Management of @Veritas_Uni_ Abuja, accompanied by the Program manager @anayophd and the Legal adviser @mykeltyopev. They were warmly received by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Hyacinth Ichoku. The discussion centered on the formation of the @SOCSCVeritas and exploring partnership opportunities between @suioncampus and the university to empower young talents with the knowledge and tools of blockchain technology, enabling them to create real impact within their communities. Interestingly, they already teach Blockchain as a course and may include Sui technology in the future. Also, the impact we have made on the continent over the past year was highlighted with grants, developer onboarding and several workshops. WHAT I DISCOVERED ABOUT THE CURVE STRATEGY ON @CETUSPROTOCOL DLMM Anyone who knows me personally will easily confess how excited I have been since @cetusprotocol launched its DLMM some weeks back, I was fascinated by how it will reshape liquidity provision on @Suinetwork forever. Last time I tried the Bid-Ask strategy but this time I wanted something smoother so I carried out a 3- Day experiment on the Curve strategy and the results are in. As always I was not chasing big profits, I just wanted to see how liquidity flows in and out of bins when price moved. So I started with $10.02 in the SUI/USDC pool. At the time, $SUI was swinging between $2.8 and $2.6, a perfect condition for me to see the Curve strategy in action. HOW I SET IT UP I opened app.cetus.zone/pools?tab=dlm… and selected the SUI/USDC pool. Here’s how I configured it: 📌Range: $2.4973 – $2.6516 📌Entry price: $2.6516 📌Strategy: Curve 📌Initial value: $10.02 With this setup, I will earn well when prices hovers around my active range but will go inactive if it moves away. HOW IT PLAYED OUT (Day 0–3) On Day 0, my position was live but idle. I made zero yield but just observed the pool’s behavior. By Day 1, the price of $SUI was around $2.6187 which was comfortably within my range. This is when things started getting interesting, I noticed that my liquidity was fairly distributed equally and I earned a small $0.05 in yield (about 0.5%). Yes, it was not huge but it showed that my strategy was working. Day 2 was where the action actually began. The price of $Sui dropped to $2.4973, brushing the lower end of my range. My liquidity shifted sharply, about 99.98% of my funds had moved into SUI, while only 0.02% remained in USDC. Despite that, I still earned $0.05 in yield which brought my cumulative earnings to $0.11 (1.1%) Then came Day 3, $SUI slid to $2.3521 which pushed my range completely out of activity. My liquidity converted 100% to SUI and yield stopped since the pool was inactive, This was particularly fitting because in just 3 days I experienced the full liquidity cycle ( Entry, balance and inactivity). WHAT I LEARNED The curve strategy is not like Bid-Ask, you have to stay close to the Market’s pulse. When the price stays in range you will earn smoothly, when the price goes out of range you hold one pair ( In my case $Sui). Here is what stood out; 📌 The closer your range is to the current price, the higher your fee potential but also the higher your risk to inactivity. 📌 Even with just $10, I could see clearly how liquidity flows. 📌 When SUI dropped outside my range about 99.98% of my liquidity flowed into SUI, showing how adaptive the Curve bins are. This past 3 Days have taught me that liquidity provision sometimes is not just to set and forget, you have to pay attention to the market. Mini-Guide to Try the Curve Strategy Yourself 📌 Go to Cetus DLMM Pools 📌 Choose the SUI/USDC pool 📌 Select Curve Strategy 📌 Set a narrow price range close to the current price 📌 Start small ($10–$20 works fine for learning) 📌 Add liquidity and confirm 📌 Monitor your position daily, when price leaves your range, you will know exactly how liquidity behaves After three days, my position did not grow dramatically but my understanding did. With @Cetusprotocol DLMM, you do not force liquidity but flow with it.
