We caught up with @Hack4Labour at LPC25 last month, to discuss the Government's work to tackle CVD and how we can work together to achieve those ambitions. Thank you for championing this in Parliament, Amanda!

Good to hear @NHSEngland Chief Exec, Sir Jim Mackey, highlight the importance of collaboration to realise change in his keynote address at @TheKingsFund this afternoon 🤝 He also emphasised that, despite a potentially challenging winter ahead, the 10 Year Health Plan is starting to enable green shoots of progress for the NHS 🌱 As we look to the colder months, we will work hard to ensure the Plan delivers on its ambitions to improve cardiac care across the NHS ❤️‍🩹

↪️Yesterday, @NHSEngland set out actions for NHS systems in England to strengthen the quality and consistency of patient ethnicity data recording. Consistent data recording on ethnicity is crucial to addressing cardiovascular inequalities, however, the quality of this data varies widely across the UK 📊 We’re pleased to see the NHS take steps to improve ethnicity data recording in England, and will be calling for similar frameworks to be developed in each devolved nation ❤️ england.nhs.uk/long-read/eth…

↪️@DHSCgovuk has also announced advice about menopause will now form part of the NHS Health Check.
