I'm really doing it for her. She deserves to be the megastar that she is" (via @Variety | @screenrant)

To live in a world where a federal judge might reference 'Foolish Baseball' in a criminal case
Emmanuel Clase has come in to the game at the beginning of the 9th inning 40 times this season. Here is his Statcast Waste% (pitches that aren't close to zone). First pitch of 9th inning: = 17.5% Every other pitch = 5.2% Just speculating, but this how Luis Ortiz got flagged.

US citizens do not have to carry proof of citizenship. US citizens do not have to prove their citizenship. US citizens have a constitutional right to be left alone.
Another day, another video of ICE unlawfully demanding that a U.S. citizen “prove” their citizenship in the Chicago area. Reminder: In Illinois, U.S. citizens are not required to carry ID. Demanding proof of citizenship… or detaining anyone for not having it… is illegal.

here’s a different way you could frame this same story: a paul thomas anderson stoner action comedy is going to handily make more than the more expensive sci-fi blockbuster sequel disney released two weeks later
One Battle After Another is going to limp past $200 million in the next week. Box office isn't the only metric to measure a movie. For an artist, it's not the most important metric. But the folks who thought it would become a cultural sensation a la Sinners were wrong.

The thing that gets me about this is that if AI artists were truly proud of the technology, they'd just show how the real process works instead of trying to pretend they did things the traditional way. Is that not the biggest admission that the process also matters?
