Regardless of who you support politically, shame on the NFL and Fox for letting a football game be hijacked by partisan politics
Fox just turned an NFL game into a Trump rally. He lied about “prices coming down” and bragged about “$17 trillion in investment,” while Americans miss paychecks in his shutdown. This isn’t broadcasting. It’s propaganda in a jersey.

Ther NFL only wants to keep politics out of sports when it involves players advocating for disadvantaged groups. When it comes to the Republican agenda of cutting the taxes of the wealthy and scapegoating minorities, they seem to be on board.

lol, so you said those same words on the whole blm slogans in the end zone? the kneeling, the words on the helmets, all of that, you spoke up then as well? Did you? Something tells me you did not. hypocrit.

Ben, you speak up when political statements have been made for the past decade? Or did you just wait to say this until it was a person you disagree with? I don’t think ANY of the parties should be shown in the NFL btw.

Hey Ben, he’s the President of the entire country. It’s not hard.

We bought our competitor's $60 PC optimization and tested it against ours. Paragon: 915 FPS. Xilly: 1,428 FPS. Same system. The difference was brutal.

He gave tariff money to the poor to help them through Schemer’s shutdown —did you forget to share that too.

It certainly felt like a missed opportunity for objective coverage, but most folks watching just wanted to see some football, not a policy debate disguised as halftime entertainment.
Replying to @BenVolin
So what you are saying is, "That was a fun segment to include the best President in modern times on a Sunday Football broadcast play by play."

I remember so well when the media shunned Obama with his college basketball brackets.
Replying to @BenVolin
Was it a shame when Fox had Obama in the booth? 🤦🏼‍♂️ 🙄

How do you feel about players kneeling for the national anthem? Was that OK? Or Black Lives Matter, which has been shown to be a fraud? A separate black "national anthem?" EXTREMELY divisive. There's only ONE national anthem. You good with that? Because THAT'S partisan.

Q: did you complain when stadiums started painting political slogans in the end zone? Posting them on the sidelines? Did you complain about the musical guests at the SuperBowl criticizing the president or his party? If not…maybe sit down & put your phone away. (Btw he is POTUS)

Says the guy who writes for a partisan political newspaper. It’s always the same with you guys…..politics are just fine in sports and newspapers until the politics are not on your side of the political aisle. 😂

Tact isn't the President's strong suit, but overall he kept it in the sports realm. By the same token, he gets 98% negative coverage, so these 8 minutes he spent in the booth, where he was treated with some decorum doesn't exaxtly even things out. If it was Obama, you would have creamed your shorts, so pipe down, snowflake.

That’s odd. I feel like the last 15 years of my life with sports has been one big political partisan show. 🤔 Was it shame on Fox when they shoved all the other things down our throats? Or just now? You know, to keep it fair… but YES get politics out of sports yesterday.

💯 🔥🔥🔥 The reason Trump goes to sports events is to co-opt support. And even that is starting to not work for him. U hate to see it.

Can we safely assume that your sentiment remains the same when Democrats are involved? Methinks not. So beat it you partisan goon pretending to be nonpartisan.

Politics has been in the NFL for years. Shame on the NFL for allowing people to take the knee. Shame on what was it nbc who let the guy talk about gun control. Did you complain back then? How about the political message in the end zone?

You mean like those “social justice” messages in the end zones? Definitely need to quit those partisan politics.
