Deliveries of American weapons to NATO allies for Ukraine have been suspended: All because of the shutdown in the US, โ Axios, citing State Department sources.
The suspension affects deliveries of weapons such as AMRAAM missiles, Aegis combat systems, and HIMARS, worth more than $5 billion.

In the past, wise leaders were old men who recognized threats and acted.
Today, our Western politicians are the old men who do nothing against dictators.
Through inaction and appeasement, they are plunging Europe into the abyss: energy dependence, economic blackmail, and military escalation threaten to engulf us all.
The shame of passivity will be Europe's legacy.
Ukraine is the largest country in Europe and millions of people are without electricity, heat or gas. In the future, Europeans should look back on this time as the greatest shame that this was allowed to happen. Russia shoots down planes over our skies, poison people on UK soil and launch hybrid disinformation warfare online. Now is the time to realise it is at war with everyone and fight back.

Maybe itโs worth repeating: if the political goal is to prevent pro-Russian parties from gaining power, the best way to do that is to help Ukraine defeat Russia. Without Russian funding, thereโs no propaganda machine churn and no political foothold.
Everything else is just talk.
