I've been to the spot where they filmed this in Jamaica Was pretty cool They still have a bunch of amazing Alligators they will feed right in front of you by dangling a dead chicken from a long stick - they leap out of the water and "SNAP"

Fun fact: the main villain of the film Kananga (played by the great Yaphet Kotto) was named after this stuntman Ross Kananga who also owned the crocodile farm where this scene was shot

I admit I always thought this was fake gators. I'm not sure I'm not being lied to by the Internet here either.

Ross Kananga, was the owner of the place with the crocodiles lol. The set piece was his idea‌, to use the place and he can do the stunt himself. EON even used his name "Kananga" for the villain in the film too.

Those aren’t gators. Crocs are a lot more dangerous

Wow! This reminds me of "Pitfall," that home video game from the 1980s.... amazingly enough I got addicted to it but I seldom play video games now

I'm so much worse at playing Pitfall than that stunt man was.

It must’ve taken forever to film, not because of wrangling the alligators but because of drying off between takes

I’ve been to that place where in was filmed in Jamaica. There’s a video of him doing it. They almost had to call it off after him getting nipped on the first attempt. Wild stuff
