It's a good idea, and it's depressing that good ideas like this pop up all the time and Congress apparently has no interest in actually passing them.
Back of the napkin proposal for MAGA home buying policy: Foreign nationals purchase something like 2% of American homes every year, mostly in luxury areas, and much of it in cash. This should come with a steep tax. Such a tax is common elsewhere. Canada eg has a non-resident acquisition tax. Use that tax to off-set interest payments for first-time *native-born* home buyers. States can/should add additional property tax rebates for first time home buyers born in their state. Married couples buying their first home should also receive additional interest rate discounts.

In all the commentary about The Line and how it makes no sense I’m surprised nobody ever mentions there is literally a video game named “The Line” which is about a hubristic Arab megaproject ending in millions of deaths.
Neom — a linear skyscraper through the desert intended to hold 9 million people — never made any sense but this @FT story is full of incredible details on just how it came to be and what a wild idea it is

White people are great. Why would such a project be “insidious?” Does The Economist think it’s “insidious” to make America less white? If not, why not?
With Trump and Vance in power, many pro-natalists believe this is the moment to jump-start baby-making. But some critics see pro-natalism as part of an insidious project to create a whiter America economist.com/1843/2025/11/0…

Without immigration there would be crimes rotting in the fields!
94% of members of organized crime groups in Sweden are immigrants or children of immigrants. They have imported an entire criminal class and structure.
Other than gender/racial/XYZ identity studies, there may be no "expert" discipline more tethered to academia than sociology/social psychology. So it's fitting that so many of its famous and foundational findings are just complete frauds.
The fall of "When prophecies fail": Another social psychology classic turns out to be based on fabrications and lies. In 1954, Dorothy Martin predicted an apocalyptic flood and promised her followers rescue by flying saucers. In “When Prophecy Fails “ (1956), the now-canonical account of the event, Festinger, Riecken and Schachter claimed that the group doubled down on its beliefs and began recruiting—evidence, the authors argued, of a new psychological mechanism, cognitive dissonance. When Prophecy Fails is one of the most influential case studies in 20th-century social science. It shaped popular understandings of how belief survives disconfirmation, and became a touchstone for explaining the origins of religious movements... But the case was misrepresented. The cult did not persist, proselytize, or reinterpret its failure as a spiritual triumph. Its leader recanted, the group disbanded, and belief dissolved. Drawing on newly unsealed archival material, this article demonstrates that the book's central claims are false, and that the authors knew they were false. The documents reveal that the group actively proselytized well before the prophecy failed and quickly abandoned their beliefs afterward. They also expose serious ethical violations by the researchers. The newly unsealed Box 4 of papers contain transcripts, telephone logs, research notes, channeled messages, and internal communications among the researchers. Collectively, they reveal serious ethical breaches: fabrications, covert manipulation, and at least one instance of interference with a child welfare investigation. One coauthor, Henry Riecken, posed as a spiritual authority and later admitted he had “precipitated” the climactic events of the study. This article shows that the authors of When Prophecy Fails misled their readers—and that scholars in psychology, sociology, and religious studies have been building theories atop a collapsed foundation. The full scope and variety of the misrepresentations and misconduct of the researchers needed the unsealed archives of Festinger to emerge, the full story could not be written until now. Every major claim of the book is false, and the researchers’ notes leave no option but to conclude the misrepresentations were intentional.

We had an amazing call at the end of today's AMA hour from a listener who credited Charlie with inspiring her and her husband to have a baby before it was too late. It's a child who literally would not exist if not for Charlie's daily Christian witness. Incredibly moving moment.
Watching these nutball theories unfold is a good object lesson in how conspiracies work generally: -They’re more attached to the conspiracy than any actual narrative, so they rapidly swap in new claims as old ones fail or simply become less interesting. -People who are “just asking questions” aren’t actually looking for answers, and are often angry when they get them. -There’s never any serious effort to explain how the “holes” they are finding rationally point toward a conspiracy. The UVU event was approved quickly, so that…proves Charlie was murdered there? What? I’ve seen this with the latest disgusting attacks on my friend Mikey McCoy. As it happens, he wasn’t on the phone when the shooting happened, but even if he was — what then? Why would him being on the phone point toward a conspiracy? Because Bibi Netanyahu won’t have Mossad shoot unless a guy on Charlie’s team is 15 feet away on the phone to “confirm” what is on 500 cameras for the whole world to see? Doesn’t this sound completely stupid to everyone?
The latest claim is that TPUSA must’ve been in on Charlie’s murder, because the UVU campus stop was approved in July, and that’s too short of a timeline for an event in September. That’s not true. Charlie texted me at the end of August for a campus event in early November. That’s about 2 months out. And the reason he didn’t specify which campus is because they didn’t even know yet. He just knew it was going to be in Alabama. So, yes, it does seem like part of this year’s campus tour was being put together at the last minute, and UVU being booked over the summer isn’t actually unusual.
A perpetual battle between tribal factions of welfare-scamming genital mutilators, if you can keep it.
🇺🇸🇸🇴⚡️- A significant number of Somalians in Minneapolis didn't vote for ethnic Somali Mayoral candidate Omar Fateh due to Fateh being part of the Daarood clan rather than the Hawiye. These deep seeded clan wars allowed Mayor Jacob Frey to rally key community leaders from the Hawiye clan to hold off a challenge from Fateh. Representative Ilhan Omar, who endorsed Fateh and is part of the Daarood clan, is reportedly the next target of Hawiye community leaders as they are emboldened by their proxy victory over the Daarood in the Mayoral election, she will possibly face a primary challenge on tribal grounds.

We should protect bedrocks of civilization, not overrun them.
Fun fact: Singapore already imposes caning as a penalty for those caught facilitating illegal immigration or employing illegal immigrants. We have much we could learn from them.

Was great to have @robkhenderson back in the studio today to discuss Zohran Mamdani and his being one of Charlie’s final interview guests.
The working class didn't fall for Zohran, college grads did. 57% of New Yorkers with a bachelor's degree or higher supported Mamdani, compared with only 39% of working class voters. Education, more than income, signals class because it shapes habits, networks, and outlook long after the degree is earned. Higher education encodes cultural capital: speech patterns, tastes, opinions, and expectations about life. Income can fluctuate across a lifetime; the worldview forged in selective institutions does not. By that standard, college college graduates—regardless of earnings—are not working class.

🚨 BREAKING: Erika Kirk reveals how she found out when Charlie was shot. JESSE: "How did you find out Charlie had been shot?" ERIKA: "I was at my mom's doctor's appointment. I put my phone down, and it was on silent. I went to grab my foam, and that's when they called me." MIKEY: "I called Erika. I did not know what to say. Those are the words that will change someone's life forever. That was the first time I've ever called her during a campus tour stop." ERIKA: "So Mikey called me, and I will never forget him just being like Charlie has been shot. He's been shot, get the kids, get security, at the kids, he's been shot. I sprinted out of her treatment center, collapsed in the middle of the parking lot, and called our security. Yeah. Unbelievable nightmare."

Sure, this is technically true: A headscarf is less vulgar than dressing like a prostitute at the mall.  But come on: The hijab is an emblem of loyalty to a religion founded by a child rapist whose clerics teach that women deserve rape, or worse, if they don't wear it.
While we’re all talking about Muslims, a unpopular opinion: hijabs are more tasteful than much of what passes for modern women’s fashion.
It's pretty revealing that all of the major open borders libertarians will openly admit to despising the people they live amongst.
Libertarian billionaires lobbied for infinite third-world immigration to “reduce social solidarity” on purpose, because they believed the resulting ethnic hatred would stop people from voting for wealth redistribution, so now NYC has a communist mayor.

Find yourself a woman who loves you as much as the LARP class loves not voting. But first, go vote.
RWers will fantasize all day about national divorce, imminent civil war, what they will do in the BASED regime, etc. But if you suggest they take 5 minutes out of their day to vote, they LOSE their minds. Only LARPing allowed
