Bought a laptop with a copilot key not knowing that it can't be set to act as CTRL. Workarounds ignore that the hardware actually sends win+shift+f23, taking over the shift button and making shift+ctrl+arrow navigation impossible.
Well.
NO. MORE. COPILOT.

32 bits after 32 years
We're incredibly proud to announce that Second Reality has now been finally ported to a modern operating system, and you can watch it tear up your system: no video, no emulation, just code - as it should be.

Breakdown of a 64k intro: the contents of Tension (piped.video/watch?v=48nLsoDw…) look like this after compression. Green is visual data, blue is audio code+data, brown/yellow is engine code and red is the exepacker+stub.
These past couple days the phrase "open source" has been thrown around a lot. I feel this is misleading. Deepseek is as much "open source" as any released binary compiled application is. Open weight, locally executable is not the same thing.
We've released the tool that made Clean Slate possible. This thing allows us to track where every byte from the source executable ends up in the compressed 64k release, even having the option to annotate the contents of the embedded project file. github.com/ConspiracyHu/kkpV…
I've been waiting to write this article for almost 2 years now. It describes what is probably the biggest breakthrough in our 64k intro creation process in a decade. conspiracy.hu/articles/12-mi…#64k#demoscene
A peek at the generic overview in the tooling for last weekend's Empires by @conspiracyhu
Such a view allows us to quickly tweak most lower level content and also see their results in the final render in real-time.
Happy birthday Conspiracy!
I spent over 10 years working on this tool and it was used in the creation of about 70 demoscene releases. Enjoy a peek behind the curtain of what we used to create our releases with in the past decade with full source code and project files included!
Happy birthday! 🥳
Today we're releasing apEx, the tool we've made Offscreen Colonies and Clean Slate with, with full source and datafiles included! 🛠️
Hope you enjoy the look behind the scenes!
