Castile literally comes from “land of castles”, but apparently you see an empty Spain, also it’s a fact that just by going by road, every half hour you cross a castle. This is bcs in France any noble house or country house is considered a castle and in Spain not. 🇫🇷🇪🇸

Tous les espagnols qui comprennent pas que nos châteaux forts ont évolués une fois la poudre arrivée et que beaucoup ont été modifiés avec la renaissance retirant les donjons et grandes murailles qui servaient plus pour plus d'esthétique. Car nous n'étions plus face à des sièges.

France’s concentration of castles is higher because of their definition. For example using that definition for England would add hundreds of English Manor Houses like these to the count.
