You run on the taxpayers money and only take steps after the loot has happened?! Indigo and others have been profiteering like hell and you did not take any proactive step when Mahakumbh was on card? No additional flight, no clear guideline for carrying holy water?

If it's all an urge only then why are you there as a controller in first place. Watching the loot by airlines is nothing but being involved within.

Almost one month more for maha kumbh, such exorbitant fares display the helpness of dcga and government to cap fares, due to media coverage of mahakumbh every one wants to take holy dip, vietjet is charging Rs18500 for to and fro fare to Vietnam, this is cartelling and loot, sad

Airlines & their ticket booking platforms are looting money. When we were booking the price increased 3 times within a minute. Every time we clicked for payment it said flight is not available and later we saw the increase in the amount. @HMOIndia @PMOIndia @firstpost @palkisu

Urging airlines to increase capacity is fine, but please track and ensure it happens. Your duty & responsibility does not end by just posting this on X.

@DGCAIndia @flyspicejet has cancelled flight booking from MDS to Prayagraj and return on Feb 14 - 16. Our family had done all bookings for Kumbh Mela accordingly. How will we fly now with air fare prices soaring. cancel @flyspicejet license. We demand alternate arrangements

First tell them to improve the punctuality There is no point in running airways like Indian railways

But may I knowHow much longer will student pilots suffer under this broken system? Delays, rejections without reason, and corruption in computer number allotment are mentally exhausting. Future pilots deserve fairness, not endless frustration! @DGCAIndia, when will this be fixed?

What about the Silchar-Imphal-Silchar airfare ? We think this is not mandatory for DGCA to adjust airfare between this two routes which is only 94kms. Harassing the northeastern people is fair, right.

@flyspicejet @DGCAIndia my flight was delayed for 6+ hours and no compensation was provided, i wrote an email on sunday 9th Feb and it’s already been two days with no response @DGCAIndia why there is no action from you against @flyspicejet after so malpractices #boycott spicejet

To less & too late... more than half the Kumb duration is gone. Knowing the event they should have acted swiftly before starting of the holy event. Majority of camps are expected to wrap up by February 15.

The prices have again increased substantially and no respite..Mumbai - Patna is costing around 28K, Mumbai LUcknow again 25K, Mumbai Prayagraj again 25K
Replying to @DGCAIndia
There should be a maximum cap and the gst should be 18%. Same as everyone in the service industry.

Air fares are skyrocketing now with taking near monopoly advantage by two dominant airlines in India. The DGCA is requested to look into this major issue being faced by common people.

we were hopeful that there would be a reduction in the airfare prices, especially for routes to Kumbh and nearby airports. However, that prices have actually increased after the meeting with ,airfare to Kumbh and surrounding airports now reflecting similar rates to Prayagraj

There is no cap on any airline for the prices travelling to and fro from UP is not at all economical for a middle class person.
