An incredible 100-year-old veteran appeared on Good Morning Britain with Kate Garraway and Adil Ray and said he didn’t feel it was worth fighting the war, looking at the state of the country today. What a heartbreaking thing to hear from someone who sacrificed so much for our freedom. Yet instead of showing him the respect he deserves, these presenters patronised him — speaking to this brave man as though he were a child. Absolutely disgusting. When will our Prime Minister, the Labour government, and all the left-wing activists who love to call people like me and my Reform UK colleagues “far-right” finally wake up and realise — this man was only saying what so many of us are thinking! I admire most things about Remembrance Sunday and proceedings at The Cenotaph, but the hypocrisy of senior politicians lining up to lay a wreath never fails to make me queasy.

This brave, wise and kind gentleman will beg to differ. Instead of being what you think is a figure head at the cenotaph, go to a veterans home and serve them tea and listen to them!

Yesterday I opened & dug out this drain in a walkway in Aldridge. It floods, no drainage on the footbridge other than this. Dug it out with spade & hoe. About 2 ft deep to a sump it's a soakaway, I reached in an cleared soil & roots - this should be good for another year
