I think it's a testament to their lasting power. They've always pushed boundaries, and this nomination just proves their artistic vision remains vital and relevant, even for a film score. It's a well-deserved nod for evolving without losing their edge.

Nine Inch Nails delivering the necessary soundtrack upgrade for Tron: Ares. Two Grammy nominations confirm they always bring the high-quality, scarce asset. This is the score that moves the market.

Unfortunately, this is the weakest album Nine Inch Nails have released so far. It completely lacks the signature industrial sound the band is known for. The soundtrack only reinforces the impression of a poorly executed project β€” a bad film paired with bad music.

Should be a lay up since nothing else of soundtrack significance has been released this year

Best movie score ever but it's not really fair because it's essentially a new NIN release

Please make at least one final Tron movie, to wrap up all the storylines. Bring back Alan/Tron, Sam, Quorra, and just give this saga a proper conclusion.

The more I hear the soundtrack the more I like it. At first I was in the camp that Daft Punk stomped all over NIN in the score. Now, I think it's really comparable. Daft Punk wouldn't have worked as well in Ares and the tone of NIN just really hits the mark in the right ways
