Did you know that the nWo "paid announcements" were a storyline device intended to portray the group as a separate entity interrupting the broadcast? During the group's early period, WCW programming would be interrupted by grainy, black-and-white vignettes that began with the phrase, "The following announcement has been paid for by the New World Order". This was designed to present the nWo as an outside force with its own funding, which was later explained in kayfabe by their "financial supporter," Ted DiBiase. These segments also allowed producers to edit Hulk Hogan's promos into the shorter "sound bite" format used by Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.
This group being together was by far the best thing about season 7

At the Top of the Eiffel Tower, a Hidden Apartment 🇫🇷 When Gustave Eiffel designed the Eiffel Tower in the late 1880s, he didn’t just envision a marvel of engineering. Near the pinnacle, over 1,000 feet in the air, Eiffel quietly included something personal, a private apartment just for himself. Nestled just below the spire on the third level, the small but refined space was outfitted with wooden furniture, patterned wallpaper, a piano, and even scientific equipment. Unlike the cold steel and dizzying height outside, the apartment felt cozy and warm. Eiffel used it not for relaxation, but to host prominent guests and conduct atmospheric experiments. One of the most famous visitors? Thomas Edison, who came bearing one of his phonographs. The meeting of the two inventors, overlooking Paris, symbolized a moment when science, ambition, and artistry intersected. While Parisians once gossiped enviously about the mysterious hideaway in the sky, Eiffel rarely used it for personal leisure. Instead, he treated it as a sanctuary for scientific curiosity. Today, Eiffel’s apartment remains preserved with wax figures of both Eiffel and Edison inside, viewable behind glass to visitors who make the long climb, a secret room in the sky, built by a man who refused to see limits. © History Pictures #archaeohistories

🚨🇺🇸 TRUMP’S “INVISIBLE” NUCLEAR MISSILE JUST MADE ITS GRAND ENTRANCE The Pentagon’s worst-kept secret just leaked skyward. A California planespotter caught the first public glimpse of the AGM-181 LRSO - the U.S. Air Force’s new stealth nuclear cruise missile, once rumored to exist only in Trump-era whispers and classified budgets. This isn’t your granddad’s nuke. The LRSO carries a variable yield up to 150 kilotons - 10 Hiroshimas in 1 sleek, radar-dodging package. Its job: slip past enemy defenses so quietly they won’t know the world ended until the lights go out. Officially, the Pentagon says nothing. Unofficially? It’s already flying. The missile’s been spotted under B-52s and may soon ride the B-21 Raider, America’s new stealth bomber built for the apocalypse. The message to Moscow, Beijing - and anyone else paying attention - is simple: deterrence just got an upgrade with Wi-Fi and better aim. By 2030, the LRSO won’t just replace the old nukes - it’ll redefine them. The next world war might be fought in silence, 500 miles above your head. Source: Daily Mail, U.S. Air Force
🚨🇺🇸🇷🇺 TRUMP LIGHTS THE FUSE, PUTIN LOADS THE WARHEAD The nuclear taboo just cracked - and the sound you hear is 30 years of uneasy peace hissing out the window. Trump announced the U.S. will break its moratorium on nuclear testing, claiming China and Russia have been cheating in secret. Within hours, Putin told his generals to prepare their own tests. Cold War 2.0 - but with worse leaders and better cameras. In Europe, Bulgaria just moved to seize a Russian Lukoil refinery, cutting Moscow’s oil grip on the Black Sea. That’s not just economic - it’s symbolic. One of Putin’s last footholds in EU energy politics is about to be nationalized. On the ground, Russian troops push into Pokrovsk while Ukrainian drones hit deep inside Volgograd - Stalingrad, by another name. History has a sick sense of humor. What’s next? Expect a sprint to the next arms race, wrapped in “national pride” press releases. The age of restraint is over. The world’s superpowers are dusting off their doomsday toys. Welcome back to the blast zone. Source: The Independent, Reuters
