Tesla competes really well without any subsidies in many parts of the world, even against local companies who do get subsidies,
and a lot of these subsidies are earned because Tesla and Elon offers better products than the competition does, often nobody else even offers what Elon has, so naturally, the governments have to take it, and give him some tax breaks,
Accumulating wealth leads to a meaningless life. Serving others leads to a meaningful life. There must be more to life than having everything.
