I want to clarify a few things regarding GTA 6, since a lot of BS is circulating around.
1. The union layoffs in the UK and the delay are not related. There are 6000+ employees working at Rockstar, you aren't delaying a game over 35 people getting laid off, that's not how these things work, not to mention Rockstar devs were telling me about a delay well before the union layoffs.
2. Rockstar is EXTREMELY compartmentalised, a huge number of staff don't even know whats in a lot of the game because they are only exposed to the specific chunk of work that they are assigned. This is done because the game is so large in scope and also for security reasons
3. I've seen apparently some "insider" saying its being delayed till 2027 and the game is in a messy state. I highly doubt this and no one I have spoken to has corroborated it. The game is content complete, all the work from here on out is optimising the hell out of it and making sure all the systems work to prevent a Cyberpunk scenario.
4. Leaks from a former Rockstar employee has said that morale is low and no doubt that is the case at Edinburgh but that doesn't translate to ALL of Rockstar. Bangalore for example operates completely differently and has a different culture to Edinburgh.
GTA 6's release delay is unrelated to UK layoffs, as the game is content complete and the focus is intense optimization to avoid a CP77 situation.
Rockstar is very perfectionistic, they will fix every single known bug before the game comes out.
Rockstar Games has updated its banner to reflect the new November 19 release date, replacing May 26.
I still believe they are going to shadow drop a new trailer very soon. If they don't, Take Two shares ain't going up. 💀
November 19, 2026 is unofficially going to be a worldwide holiday if GTA 6 actually releases.

Now that GTA 6 is delayed, just watch other studios scramble to announce their release dates.
Even games that were planned for late next year will probably be released early now 🤣
GTA 6 has been delayed to November 2026, but Rockstar Games still hasn't updated their website.
This can only mean one thing: Trailer 3, along with more intel and screenshots, will drop within a few days, just like what happened after the first delay announcement.
