I don't know of any current BBC output that I would miss were it gone. The BBC is to broadcasting what the landline is to telecoms.
The UN has now entered the "Metal Gear Villain" stage of evilness.
🚨 UN CHIEF DEMANDS CENSORSHIP CRACKDOWN António Guterres has called for tighter control of social media, claiming that “false narratives” threaten the UN’s Agenda 2030 goals and global stability. He condemned what he called “a tsunami of conspiracy theories” and demanded action against platforms that allow them to spread. Translation: the UN wants the power to decide what’s true — and to silence whatever challenges its agenda. When unelected bureaucrats start policing speech in the name of “safety,” it’s not protection. It’s digital authoritarianism in disguise.

BREAKING: BBC not institutionally biased says BBC.
No one ever called Islam the "religion of peace" until a few of its followers flew a plane into a building, committing mass murder. Corollary: No one praised the BBC harder than after it was caught editing speeches and its CEO reigned.
I 100% back the BBC. It is central to the values and identity of this country. Not just news but also arts, science, education, entertainment and more. Time to recognise and celebrate its brilliance, not to pull it down.

“You Don't Know What You Got Till It's Gone” is what I say about the money I'm forced to pay for something I don't watch.
The BBC is a HUGE asset to the UK. Yes, it would benefit from more viewpoint diversity (like every other cultural institution) but I utterly disagree with those who wish to destroy it. Remember the words of the great Joni Mitchell: “You Don't Know What You Got Till It's Gone”
No, it's just another source of lies and manipulation, no matter how many people across the world delude themselves into believing otherwise.
Across the world, the BBC is recognised as the best source of impartial news reporting. It's not perfect, because nothing made by people ever is. However, in these days of deliberate lies, manipulation & populism, it's a beacon of truth. Britain should be proud of it. And we are
And here's another one. Utterly dishonest framing of the situation, plus a conspiracy theory. Claiming a state-run, taxpayer funded broadcaster is 'independent' is also delusional, but that's a different matter.
Tim Davie's resignation from the BBC is deeply worrying. It raises serious questions about whether bad actors are interfering in the BBC’s independence. The BBC is a cornerstone of British media, we want it to be the best it can be. That’s why we’ve supported the licence fee: public funding should protect journalism from misinformation and Trump-style populism. We cannot let those protections be eroded. The BBC must stay independent and focused on proportionate, accurate journalism that serves the public, not political interests.
Pro tip: When someone resigns in disgrace, don't praise them.
I want to thank Tim Davie for his service to public broadcasting over many years. He has led the BBC through a period of significant change and helped the organisation to grip the challenges it has faced in recent years.

Does Adam Boulton understand that the Telegraph, unlike the BBC, isn’t expected to be totally impartial? Nor does it get to send out threatening letters if you don’t buy it.
Whenever a state-run service is described as "not perfect but", you can be assured it's the opposite of perfect.
The irony meter just broke. The BBC isn't perfect, but it's one of the few things standing between our British values and a Trump-style takeover of our politics.
How do you fancy his chances, folks?

If you implement a bachelor tax, the economy AND birth rates will crater as men quit their jobs and do the bare minimum to get by or leave the country to avoid paying it. You are one of the most retarded women I have ever seen on this fucking site
Yes. Men should have to pay extra taxes for being single after age 30. Those taxes can go towards financial incentives for married couples to have children. That solves birth rates. Boom. You’re welcome. The reason men specifically need to be taxed extra, especially above a certain tax bracket, is to eliminate the “more money, more bitches” incentive for success. Ideally a man’s incentive for success should come from providing for his family. It is best if men settle down you to avoid men wasting women’s reproductive years. Alternatively, maybe you can get out of “single tax” if you are in a new registered relationship for less than 2 years. That gets all the relationships registered so that people cannot cheat without the side pieces knowing. 😁

Every millennial has figured out that we are never going to see a penny of the thousands we pay into the state pension. It’s all been spent. The money simply isn’t there and the future, mainly immigrant, youth won’t want to pay for us. we try to plan for the future by saving in private pensions but Reeves wants to limit that so she can continue to fund the gravy train. It’s Aesop’s grasshopper and ant except the grasshopper is pulling the ant’s legs off to stop him preparing for the coming calamity.
🚨 NEW: Rachel Reeves will use the Budget to impose a £2k-a-year limit on how much salary can go into a pension before paying National Insurance The move will raise £2bn and hit salary sacrifice schemes [@thetimes]
I never put the sound on for videos like this. The mannerisms and body language tell you everything you need to know.
White liberal woman says she cut her hair short to avoid being hit on by conservative men & encourages others to do the same 🤣
Women waste their own reproductive years chasing careers. Then they wake up at last minute, want a man to be responsible for them, and put a gun to his head with demand for baby. You wanted this world, you got it. A man who gives woman leverage under such conditions is an idiot.

The obvious and well-documented bias of the BBC is a significant problem. Its mere existence is another, far bigger problem.
'The irony that the Trump White House is getting on its high horse is going to be lost on nobody!' Political Commentator Matthew Stadlen defends the BBC over accusations of bias as Donald Trump labels the organisation a 'leftist propaganda machine'.

Demanding single men to pay the foid tax is how you get Louis XVI scenes in every single American city. “That solves birth rates.” No. That turns Rudyard into a prophet who, like Nietzsche’s Zarathustra, was just too early.

Reminder that: - The Irish are richer per capita than the British - Socialists are primitive throwbacks that don't belong in civilisation.

The most successful capitalist countries made their wealth through colonialism. Capitalism doesn't work.
