What's the difference between a normal App in @GoogleAIStudio and a mini-App from Opal?

"Western values. The collapse of illusions" (2024, 100 x 100 cm) I lived most of my life in the USSR and Russia, and then moved, as I thought at the time, from the "Sovok" and the "Criminal Russia" to a civilized world, a blooming garden with its freedom, democracy, the inviolability of private property, independent courts, security, cleanliness, and order. However, soon I experienced a severe disiappointment in my illusions (the train of illusions derailed amidst the crumbling cities). And I decided to say goodbye to rotting Europe and leave it. Maybe I'll come back to Russia or will move to Asia. Anyway, I have already withdrawn my money from Europe. P. S. The inscription in Russian "Я" means "I", and "мои деньги" means "my money".

If Germany, Turkey and other European countries are not among the 160 countries, which 160 countries are there?

I feel like this is what it's trending towards, chat as a unified interface to apps generated and shared on demand. Chat becomes it's own sort of OS Will have to give Opal a try

The barrier to entry for building an app just fell through the floor. The speed from 'idea' to 'functional mini-app' is about to accelerate innovation massively. This is the new frontier for rapid prototyping.

no-code tools are game changers for rapid experimentation

You’re onto something here — I spun up 2 apps in under 5 minutes (faster than Gemini or even Codex). A few requests: Give more visibility into available tools (Google + non-Google). Let me email the final output to myself or other recipients and save each run on Drive Add richer logging/debug info in each step (stored in a per-app Drive folder). If integrated with GAS, enable building extensions for these apps.

This is amazing! The fact that people can now build AI apps without coding knowledge across 160+ countries feels like we're witnessing the next wave of digital creation. Can't wait to see what innovative tools people build - especially for small businesses and educators who've been waiting for something exactly like this. The natural language approach is going to unlock so much creativity worldwide 🌍

Please, just focus on Firebase and the horrendous, outdated Gemini model it uses now.

The ability to go from “idea → working app” with natural language is wild. Curious how Opal handles more complex logic or API integrations.

That’s a solid move. Opening Opal to that many regions is going to push a lot of new creators into the space. The no-code angle lowers the barrier for people who have ideas but not the engineering background to build them.

Congrats on Opal rolling out to 160+ countries. For no-code AI to be production-ready, the make-or-breaks are: 1. Connectors & webhooks, 2. Versioning + audit logs, 3. PII controls & data-residency, 4. Export-to-code (avoid lock-in), 5. Monitoring/limits/SLA, 6. Model pinning & rollback (silent upgrades break apps).

Massive move for AI democratization! Opal's global expansion signals a critical shift - no-code tools are now enabling domain experts to build production-ready AI workflows without engineering dependencies. The natural language interface removes the last barrier between insight and execution. Watching closely how this reshapes enterprise innovation velocity. 🚀
