Philly is a made up place. Earlier this year one of the houses on my block got raided by the FBI and last night the owner (not the person who was raided) came and gave everyone on the block a pie on from Linvilla Orchards to apologize lmao. Couldn’t write that in a movie

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been selected to serve on the Program Committee for the Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) 2026 Conference, taking place in Washington, D.C. @WiCySorg is one of the world’s leading organizations dedicated to recruiting, retaining, and advancing women in cybersecurity. Over the years, it has grown into a global community that connects thousands of women, allies, and organizations, all working toward one goal: building a safer, more inclusive digital world. Serving on the Program Committee means I’ll be part of a  brilliant team of cybersecurity professionals, researchers, and educators responsible for reviewing and curating the sessions, workshops, and keynotes that will shape the conference agenda. It’s an opportunity to contribute to the direction of discussions that influence the future of cybersecurity, from technical innovation to leadership, mentorship, and diversity. My journey with @WiCySorg started as a scholar, attending my first conference in Nashville in 2024 and returning to Dallas in 2025 to continue learning, connecting, and growing with this incredible community. Those experiences changed how I see collaboration and representation in cybersecurity, reminding me that community is one of our greatest strengths. To now serve on the Program Committee for WiCyS 2026 feels like coming full circle. For me, this opportunity represents more than just professional growth; it’s about giving back to the very community that has empowered me, inspired me, and shaped much of my journey in cybersecurity and  to help create opportunities for others, especially women and young professionals breaking into the field. Grateful to the @WiCySorg team @lynn_dohm for this opportunity to contribute, and to every mentor, peer, and ally who continues to create space for women to lead, innovate, and redefine what the future of cybersecurity looks like. Here’s to purposeful work, shared growth, and a digital future built on inclusion and trust.
