I worked at linkedin for 2.5 years. Did'nt hate it, but knew it wan't mine. Quit with: - no product - no audience - just savings and the system now I'm at ~1300 followers. zero MRR. working with validation clients. building the knowledge athlete system - teaching creators to extract frameworks and monetize knowledge. This is mine: - wake at 6am - 80 min movement - read 60+ min - write 2x threads / week - host 2x spaces / week Society said "build it on the side first." I said "f" that. Went all in. I'm building the career I actully want. One daily input at a time.

I’ve seen this play out too many times when studying founders. Phil Knight worked as an accountant while sketching shoe ideas after hours. That side idea became Nike. The job gave him money. The dream gave him meaning. The truth? The longer you delay what you love, the harder it gets to start.

facts. most people waste all their creative energy surviving 9-5s instead of building something that compounds. once you taste momentum on your own thing, there’s no going back.

If you feel stuck, you're not. Start posting online. Make connections. Build a following. You'll find opportunties.

Most people confuse stability with safety. But there’s nothing safe about spending your life in quiet resentment. Choose the risk that leads to freedom. 🌿

Proving them wrong starts with proving it to yourself first

There are always decisions you can make to forge an existence you would love to live. Keep looking for what builds your dream life, and start building once you get clarity. Unless you want your life controled by someone else who doesn't care about you at all.

Left my corporate gig for exactly this reason. Best decision ever.

Exactly. Comfort disguised as stability is the biggest trap there is. What’s one small step you’re taking toward the work you actually love?

Make proving them wrong the only focus.

Comfort convinces people to settle. Freedom starts the moment you stop buying that lie.

Breaking free from that mindset is the first step toward real fulfillment well said.

So many people work at a job they don't like. But it's the constant fear that is stopping them to change. The constant pressure of making monthly payments. 🤔 In many circumstances it is difficult to change that, but it's not impossible to start moving closer with small steps.

The good news is, you always have a choice. The bad news? Sometimes, it’s a choice between bad and worse.

every year you stay, someone else is living the career you dream about

That's the way it's been for a very long time. But people are waking up and realizing they can create their own career. Don't waste more time being unhappy.

Turn challenges into opportunities to grow.

Exactly. The scariest part of leaving isn’t the unknown, it’s realizing how long you’ve tolerated what kills your spirit.

Your dream job won’t appear while you’re clinging to the one you hate.
Replying to @ItsKieranDrew
Absolutely agree! There’s always a choice—each path carries its own consequences. The real question is: Are you willing to step outside your comfort zone?
Replying to @ItsKieranDrew
your job shouldn’t chain you, it should fund your freedom to build what you actually care about
Replying to @ItsKieranDrew
how i see it most people don’t hate their job - they hate the version of themselves they became to keep it
Replying to @ItsKieranDrew
The fear of leaving keeps people trapped longer than the actual job ever could… Most of us know we're in the wrong place but we convince ourselves we need just one more year to save up Meanwhile that year becomes five and the dream gets smaller every month
Replying to @ItsKieranDrew
You do have a choice. You go to want it enough. Because you will have to sacrifice so many things.
Replying to @ItsKieranDrew
Job is a choice. Business is a choice. The difference is: Job you choose because of system, business you choose because you understand the system is a trap.

Security is the worst word for youngsters. In reality it's a trap to think & do small in life. Be Insecure. Be a risk-taker. & Think & Do big.
