🚨 NYC Fire Commissioner Robert Tucker is resigning. He’s not waiting for Zohran Mamdani to take office. He’s not pretending this is normal. He’s a Zionist. He’s Jewish. And he refuses to serve under a mayor who built his career demonizing people like him. That's integrity.

Wish he stayed. With someone so lacking in experience, we need the best to help him run things.

There are pretty massive resignations across the NYPD as well.

Good riddance. If Robert Tucker @FDNYFC is stepping down because he refuses to serve under a democratically elected mayor who happens to be Muslim, that isn’t integrity, it’s prejudice. Public service is about serving everyone, not just people who share your religion or politics. Zohran Mamdani has never “demonized Jewish people.” He has criticized policies of the Israeli government, which is a legitimate political stance, not antisemitism. Conflating the two is dishonest and dangerous. New York City deserves leaders who believe in democracy and equality, not people who walk away the moment someone with a different faith takes office. If Tucker’s loyalty to his job depends on who’s mayor, then yes, good riddance.

“Demonizing people like him” means what exactly? You think Mamdani is against Jews? Then why are many Jewish people supporting him?

Now Mamdani will hire a Muslim for this position...and they will be forbidden to respond to Jewish and white homes to fight the fires....this will take a little time but wait and see what this swine is going to do...he plans to punish all that are not Muslims....convert or die...

Sometimes integrity means walking away, not because it’s easy but because staying would betray who you are. Tucker’s move wasn’t politics; it was principle with a badge. In a city that never sleeps, it’s rare to see someone choose conscience over comfort.

No it's a combination of ethnocentrism and being a sore loser. Time to move to Israel.

That is not fighting back. So, who will be promoted? I assume someone who will agree with the new mayor.

He hasn’t said why he’s resigning but the sources claim it’s due to degenerative disc disease he’s been suffering from.

Integrity? Maybe in your books. Fire buff and not American in heart. Not Jewish either. But Israeli.

First domino falls—cops next. As a vet, respect the stand. Mamdani's 'priorities'? Nah, purge. More quits incoming? Time to go to a more friendly city.
